I was prompted by a friend to find these pictures and reload this slideshow.  Thanks Val for the boost as I feel blessed to have been there to witness history.  What strikes me, in looking back, is the size of the crowd and the DIVERSITY it reflects!

Farewell Mr. President Barack Obama,

You, First Lady Michelle and the girls represented us with Intelligence, grace, charm and a sincere urgency to always do what you felt in your gut was right. I’m sad to see you go but I’m happy for you at the same time as living in a bubble for 8 years is enough for any one family.  Go forward and enjoy your time with Michele, Sasha and Malia…… they need you now.

May God protect you and the United States of America….
