Let her put her hair down, step outside and show her attitude for just a moment. For him as well. I was there to take pictures of the Daycare kids but could not help looking out in the backyard. The weeds were just right, the sun was gorgeous, I could see it and needed my friend to cooperate and let me take someone out there.. quick. She knows me well so she quickly moved to make my unplanned but perfect moment a reality. I needed her to then leave me with her kids so I could direct them and get the look I was seeking. “Go in the house… Go.. the sun is shifting.. go” She, knowing me, reluctantly obliged. The reluctance only being that she would not be there to direct them behind me into the perfect expression. My thoughts were outside of the box and I wanted nothing of the sort. I wanted raw expression, not cheesy. The result, to me, was nothing short of spectacular.
