Matt and Melissa’s wedding was such a pleasure to capture. We met several months before the wedding but he, being overseas, had to relied on her ultimate taste to plan all the details of their wedding. Wow… she certainly did an awesome job. As I entered the room she was calm and collected as her best friends moved softly around her to make sure she was ok. They were not there to be bridesmaids, as there was to be no traditional wedding party, but they were a comforting presence that kept her calm as she got ready… No worries there… Melissa was ready and from the looks of things down in Matt’s room, so was he. As I looked for the details to photograph I was taken by the thought that was put into every detail, including the cologne and perfume bottles… how cute!
Matt I want to personally thank you for your service to our country and pray that you will remain safe until your feet touch back down on US soil later this year. Melissa… now a military wife… thank you for having his back and keeping it all together as he serves.

What a joy it was capturing this wedding for Travis and Zara. Their Renaissance inspired wedding was carefully designed by the team at Studio Q Designs. The details of this wedding were extraordinary and St Francis Hall, in Washington DC, was the perfect backdrop for the reception. Every detail was purposefully designed and hand made with the utmost attention and care. When the guests started to arrive I quickly realized that they were all dressed according to the theme. Fur, long pearls, head pieces and themed dresses, it was a spectacular sight. I was so honored to be apart of capturing this wedding for Travis and Zara and am positive we will be working together for years to come. #whimsy4life… Welcome!

Andre and Andrea were married on a hot summer day at the Oxon Hill Manor in Oxon Hill, Maryland and were blessed with gorgeous views of the National Harbor and the river during their ceremony. The sunset was beautiful and extended beautiful light for their wedding portraits. The smile on Andrea’s face was ever present and capped off what was already apparent to all…. She is just stunning! As Andre locked eyes with her at the alter her smile became contagious and he beamed from ear to ear as well. It’s official… Andre and his bride, Andrea will live happily ever after because of the love between the two, the respect that is given and the smile that transcends all!!!
