Often when working with a bride or a couple, I try to evoke a natural look and feel to their session.  Getting the couple to relax, forget the people who may be lurking behind me and enjoy the moment sometimes proves to be challenging but worth it when you get a picture like these.  Laughter cleanses the soul, it fills us with love and hope and makes for a beautiful moment and a treasured picture.  Dancing together like no one is watching is a beautiful thing.. such a nice moment. Creating a portrait that incorporates something that you love like a motorcycle, a pet, your sisters or your best friend always proves to be very special.

Why do these pictures belong in a post about thinking outside of the box?  Getting the picture is not the issue, that’s my job.  Choosing a picture like this to enlarge and display on a wall in your bedroom or great-room is where thinking outside of the box comes into play.  Walking into a room with pictures like these displayed will make you smile every time you walk by.  Not the average wedding portrait but my brides are nothing close to average.
